PUBG Mobile, the renowned mobile battle royale from Krafton, is gearing up for its first major update of 2025 with version 3.6. This update promises to be a game-changer, introducing the exciting new Sacred Quartet mode, along with mounts, elemental powers, and a major event to celebrate the new year.
The theme of this update is wuxia, bringing a mystical flair to the maps of Erangel, Livik, and Sanhok. Players can explore a new floating mountain sanctuary teeming with elemental energy, as well as earthbound locations featuring elemental devices, treasure, and equipment. Scattered around the maps, you'll also find Mystic Enclaves, perfect spots for a quick breather and recuperation.
On Spawn Island, you can dive into the new Elemental Arts by selecting from a pop-up window. Choose from the Flaming Phoenix, Aqua Dragon, Whirlwind Tiger, or Naturespirit Deer, each offering unique mystical abilities to enhance your gameplay.
Spring in your step
Looking ahead, PUBG Mobile is set to launch the Spring Festival event on January 23rd, running until February 5th. Celebrate the Year of the Snake with style, where dumplings will help you regain health and energy, and you can witness the vibrant Lion Dance upon entering the Mystic Enclave.
Additionally, the World of Wonder will see a plethora of new items for home decoration, and the introduction of a two-seater Panda mount, allowing you to ride this black and white beast into battle. Krafton is clearly starting the year with a bang, but don't miss out—Sacred Quartet mode will only be available until March 5th!
