Project NET: A Girls’ Frontline Successor
Initially announced on December 27, 2024, by Sunborn Network (the creators of Girls’ Frontline), Project NET underwent its first localized SEA test from January 9, 2025, to January 16, 2025, encompassing Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
Building upon the legacy of the hugely popular 2016 strategy RPG gacha game, Girls’ Frontline, (which has since spawned an anime and other titles), and following the December 5, 2024, release of its sequel, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium, Project NET promises familiar characters and aesthetics within a brand-new third-person shooter experience.
While a release date remains unannounced, Project NET is currently planned for release on iOS and Android, based on the devices used during its initial test.
