Komatsuzaki's distinctive art style and Kodaka's design expertise, hallmarks of the popular PSP visual novel Danganronpa, are reunited in this exciting new title. Set in a dystopian Neo-Tokyo in the year 20XX, Tribe Nine casts players as teenagers competing in the perilous Extreme Games, orchestrated by the enigmatic Zero.
Pre-registration rewards include a Parallel Cypher/Y skin for Koishi Kohinata. The game blends stylish retro-inspired visuals with full 3D battles, offering a unique aesthetic. Players can experiment with equipment and Tension Cards to create personalized character builds.
While Danganronpa may be considered somewhat dated, its innovative blend of art and murder-mystery gameplay was groundbreaking for its time. Whether Tribe Nine achieves similar success remains to be seen.
