Heroes United: Fight x3: A Surprisingly Familiar 2D RPG
Heroes United: Fight x3 is a straightforward 2D hero-collecting RPG. Players assemble a diverse team to battle enemies and bosses – a familiar formula in the mobile gaming world. While unremarkable at first glance, a closer look at its marketing reveals some…unexpected characters.
The game's promotional materials prominently feature characters bearing a striking resemblance to Goku, Doraemon, and Tanjiro. The lack of official licensing for these well-known figures is, to put it mildly, conspicuous. It's a brazen display of copyright disregard, reminiscent of the "shovelware" releases of yesteryear. While ethically questionable, it's also oddly amusing to witness such blatant imitation.
The audacity of including these recognizable characters is hard to ignore, yet it's also strangely comforting to see a truly shameless rip-off after a long absence. This stands in stark contrast to the many genuinely excellent mobile games currently available.
