Midjiwan, the indie developer of The Battle of Polytopia, has unveiled its inaugural World Championship! The Polytopia World Championship 2025 launches this autumn, with the studio preparing an epic competition open to players worldwide.
The Ultimate Polytopia Showdown
This global tournament embraces the game's Battle of the Tribes concept, featuring all 12 distinctive in-game tribes. Each faction offers unique geographical characteristics and strategic benefits, mirroring the core gameplay experience.
The journey begins with open qualifiers, giving every player equal opportunity to advance. Top performers will progress through specialized tribal playoffs and elimination rounds, culminating in six finalists competing live in Stockholm on December 6th.
The championship finals will feature physical attendance complemented by worldwide livestreaming. Even spectators can enjoy high-level strategies and exclusive behind-the-scenes access to Midjiwan's operations.
All matches will be hosted on the Polytopia Official Space via Challengermode's esports platform. The competition starts in September, with initial qualifiers scheduled for September 13th.
