The Pokémon Go "Small Yet Strong" event is almost here! From February 5th to 8th, trainers will have a boosted chance to catch unusually sized Pokémon – XXS and XXL – and encounter the Shiny Nymble for the first time.
This event offers double XP for catching Pokémon, making it a great opportunity to level up quickly. Prepare for increased wild encounters with Paras, Natu, Joltik, and various Burmy forms. Regional variations of Flabébé will also appear more frequently: Red Flower (Europe, Middle East, Africa), Blue Flower (Asia-Pacific), and Yellow Flower (Americas), with a chance to find White or Orange Flower Flabébé anywhere.
Raid battles offer further challenges and rewards. Dialga and Enamorus (Incarnate Forme) will appear in Five-Star Raids, while Mega Medicham and Mega Tyranitar dominate Mega Raids. Both raid and wild encounters present opportunities to catch Shiny Pokémon.
For egg enthusiasts, 2km Eggs will hatch Togepi, Azurill, Budew, and Dedenne. Field Research tasks reward encounters with Burmy and Nymble. Don't miss the event-themed Timed Research and Collection Challenge for Stardust, Poké Balls, and more event Pokémon encounters. PokéStop Showcases will also feature event Pokémon.
