Pokémon Go Announces January 2025 Community Day Featuring Sprigatito!
Get ready, Pokémon Go Trainers! The first Community Day of 2025 is set for January 5th, and it's starring the adorable Grass-type Pokémon, Sprigatito!
From 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time, Sprigatito will appear much more frequently in the wild. This is your prime opportunity to catch plenty of these charming creatures.
Evolving your Sprigatito during the event (or within the five-hour extension period) into Floragato and then Meowscarada will grant it the powerful Charged Attack, Frenzy Plant. It will also permanently learn the Charged Attack, Flower Trick, significantly boosting its battle capabilities.
This Community Day is packed with bonuses! Enjoy triple Stardust and double Candy for every Pokémon caught. Trainers level 31 and above will have double the chance of receiving Candy XL. Lure Modules and Incense will last a generous three hours, and trades will cost half the usual Stardust, with an extra Special Trade available.
For an enhanced experience, a paid Special Research story will be available for $2, unlocking exclusive rewards such as a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, and additional Sprigatito encounters. A free Timed Research task will continue the fun after Community Day, offering a week to complete challenges and earn a Sprigatito with a special Dual Destiny-themed background.
