How to Get Fidough & Dachsbun in Pokémon GO
Fidough and Dachsbun debuted during the Fidough Fetch event (January 4th-8th, 2025). Fidough appeared as a wild spawn, increasing encounter chances for Trainers. It was also available via Field Research Tasks and Collection Challenges.
Trainers can also trade for Fidough or Dachsbun. Online Pokémon GO communities (Reddit, Discord, etc.) are helpful for finding trading partners.
Dachsbun doesn't appear in the wild. To obtain it, Trainers must evolve a Fidough using 50 Candies. Consider comparing Fidough stats before evolving, as Dachsbun is a valuable battler for events, PvP, and NPC battles.
Can Fidough & Dachsbun Be Shiny in Pokémon GO?
Currently (as of the Dual Destiny season), shiny Fidough and Dachsbun are unavailable. However, future events may introduce shiny variants, as is common with Pokémon GO. Until then, Trainers will need to patiently await their shiny debut.
