The Pokémon Company International is thrilled to announce its first-ever reality show, "Pokémon: Trainer Tour," premiering globally on Prime Video and the Roku Channel on July 31st.
Hosts Meghan Camarena (Strawburry17) and Andrew Mahone (Tricky Gym) will journey across the country, meeting and mentoring aspiring Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) players. Their Pikachu-themed tour bus will connect them with passionate Pokémon fans from all backgrounds, sharing their stories and love for the Pokémon TCG and the broader Pokémon world.
Andy Gose, Senior Director of Media Production at The Pokémon Company International, stated that this series "showcases the incredible diversity of Pokémon's fanbase" and highlights "the connections fostered through the Pokémon TCG."
Since its 1996 debut, the Pokémon TCG has captivated millions. Now, nearly 30 years later, it's a global phenomenon with a devoted community and a thriving competitive scene.
"Pokémon: Trainer Tour" celebrates this community and its players, offering viewers a glimpse into the unique experiences and inspiring stories of the passionate individuals who make up the Pokémon fanbase.
