Pokémon GO's Max Out Season: Dynamax Pokémon Arrive!
Get ready for gigantic Pokémon battles! Pokémon GO has officially announced the arrival of Dynamax Pokémon in its upcoming Max Out season. This exciting new feature will be available for a limited time.
Max Out Season: September 10th - September 15th
The Max Out season kicks off on September 10th at 10:00 a.m. local time and runs until September 15th at 8:00 p.m. local time. Prepare for a week of oversized Pokémon action!
Dynamax Pokémon Debut:
The following Pokémon will debut in 1-star Max Battles:
- Bulbasaur
- Charmander
- Squirtle
- Skwovet
- Wooloo
Catch these Dynamax Pokémon (and their evolved forms!), with a chance to encounter Shiny versions!
Beyond Max Battles, the event includes special Field Research tasks and PokéStop Showcases offering event-themed rewards.
Special Research & Max Particle Bundle:
A special research story focusing on Max Battles begins September 3rd and runs until December 3rd. Rewards include valuable Max Particles and a new avatar item. Additionally, a Max Particle Pack Bundle (4,800 Max Particles) will be available for purchase on the Pokémon GO web store starting September 8th at 6:00 p.m. PDT.
Future Updates:
Rumors suggest the introduction of Power Spots next month, serving as dedicated locations for Max Battles. While Gigantamax Pokémon remain unconfirmed, Niantic has hinted at more details regarding Dynamax battles soon. Interestingly, some Dynamax-capable Pokémon will also be able to Mega Evolve.
