Pokémon Center Hiroshima Relocates, Unveils Gyarados Plaza
Pokémon Center Hiroshima will temporarily close in March 2025, reopening at a new location in April 2025. A new Gyarados Plaza will simultaneously launch in March.
New Location for Pokémon Center Hiroshima
The store's new address will be the second floor of Ekie, the north exit of Hiroshima Station. Currently located on the 6th floor of Sogo Hiroshima’s Main Building, the store has been a Hiroshima landmark since June 2015.
Gyarados Plaza Opens at Hiroshima Station
The "Gyarados Plaza by Pokémon Center Hiroshima" will open on March 24, 2025, on the rooftop of Soramoa Plaza, situated within the new Minamoa building at Hiroshima Station. This playground features large Gyarados-themed play equipment. Advance reservations will be required for a limited time after its launch; details will be posted on the official Minamoa website.
Poke-lun TV Nationwide Event
To celebrate "Poke-lun TV" reaching over 1 million subscribers, a nationwide event will be held at Pokémon Centers across Japan, including Hiroshima, before its closure. Fans can receive a special sticker using a password found in a December 19, 2024, YouTube video.
Select Pokémon Centers (Mega Tokyo, Osaka, and Okinawa) will feature photo opportunities with Poke-lun TV hosts. The event runs from January 17, 2025, to February 16, 2025. This event excludes Pokémon Stores, Pokémon Center Online, Pokémon Cafés, and Pikachu Sweets by Pokémon Café.
