This outfit adorns Goro Majima in Kiryu's iconic suit. Eligible players will receive unique codes starting February 17th, redeemable in-game after launch on February 28th.
Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis (NGS) players also benefit! Linking your Sega Account to NGS unlocks 300 Star Gems, 100x C/Endymio, 500x Card Scratch Tickets, 3 Beauty Salon Passes, 3 Color Change Passes, and a special lobby action featuring your character proudly displaying the Sega logo.
A Potential Link to Sega's "Super Game"?
Many speculate that this account launch is connected to Sega's ambitious "Super Game" project, announced in a 2022 report. Sega CEO Haruki Satomi stated, "One strategy for generating such hit titles is the creation of a 'Super Game' - a large-scale global title. We're currently developing such a game, targeting release by the fiscal year ending March 2026."
Two years later, details remain scarce. However, Sega and its subsidiaries are actively developing numerous titles, from classic franchises like Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio, and Golden Axe, to newer projects such as the enigmatic, Yakuza-esque Project Century. The Sega Account platform might signal a new era for Sega, but the full scope of these plans remains to be seen.
