PGR x DMC Collaboration Livestream Summary
Dante and Vergil Character and Weapon Banners Launch on August 6
Punishing Gray Raven is gearing up for its collaboration with Devil May Cry, bringing two iconic characters from the DMC universe into the game. Kuro Games hosted a special livestream on July 30, offering a closer look at the crossover content.
As part of the effort to align all server versions, Kuro Games is rolling out various updates globally. This means players worldwide can join the special event, just like those on the Chinese server. The collaboration brings Dante and Vergil as playable characters, plus their signature weapons: Devil Sword Dante and Yamato.

Dante, the legendary demon hunter, takes on the role of a Fire Attacker. He wields multiple weapons and can switch between skills for dynamic combat. His motorcycle Cavaliere can also be equipped as a Netherworld Arm, or Companion Unit in Battle, enabling powerful combos and added damage.
Dante can activate his True Devil Trigger form, unlocking a new set of powerful moves for devastating combos. In this state, he can execute the lethal "Final Judgement" to finish off enemies.

Vergil joins as a Physical Attacker with mechanics similar to Dante. He can also enter a devil form, gaining Super Armor and significant boosts to speed and damage. When his signature energy is fully charged, he can unleash his ultimate technique, "Judgement Cut End."
Players can equip Vergil’s Mirage Blades as a Netherworld Arm to extend combos. Both Devil Sword Dante and Yamato will be featured in their respective weapon banners.
Mirrored Vergil Boss and Trial of Simulacrums

The event introduces a challenging new boss fight against Mirrored Vergil. This boss shares many of Vergil’s base attacks but introduces new moves and clone summons that can overwhelm players with heavy damage.
Mirrored Vergil will also appear in the Trial of Simulacrums, running from August 6 to September 18. In this mode, players earn high scores based on performance, similar to the Stylish ranking system in Devil May Cry.
Besides Mirrored Vergil, Echo will be another event boss. Finishing all objectives rewards players with Echo’s summer coating, Sandy Spectrum.
Get Dante for Free and Anniversary Bonuses

To mark the collaboration, PGR will reward players with a free Dante upon completing Stage 6 of the Lamento di Phantasma story event.
As previously announced, pulling either Dante or Vergil from their banners gives players an extra copy for free—a benefit that can be claimed twice. Additionally, banner pulls are discounted to 175 R&D tickets each.

PGR’s 4th anniversary celebrations also offer various in-game rewards. A login event provides bonuses such as 2,500 Event Construct R&D Tickets, a unique 4th Anniversary Main Scene, portraits, collectibles, and more.
After the August 6 update, the first-time Black Card exchange double bonus will reset. An anniversary Limited Research banner will also be available, allowing players to select any character up to Lilith: Daemonissa.

Since its debut in the Chinese server, the Lamento di Phantasma event has been highly anticipated. Global players are excited to experience PGR’s crossover with one of gaming’s most cherished franchises.
Punishing Gray Raven is available on iOS and Android. The Devil May Cry collaboration starts on August 6, 2025.
