Witch Ascendancy Classes in PoE2
Infernalist
The Infernalist is currently one of the most powerful Witch Ascendancies, specializing in fire spells. If you enjoyed summoning minions early in the game, you'll be thrilled with the new skill that summons the Infernal Hound from the underworld. Additionally, the Infernalist can transform into a demonic form, enhancing attack damage and mobility but at the cost of faster health depletion. To mitigate this, the Loyal Hellhound skill is crucial. Beidat's Will also ties your Spirit to your maximum HP, encouraging investment in this stat alongside Strength, allowing you to command a formidable army of the undead!

Blood Mage
Though not as popular or balanced as the Infernalist, the Blood Mage offers a unique and engaging gameplay experience. Sanguimancy changes the game entirely, as your character uses HP instead of MP, requiring you to balance life and death carefully. Skills like Vitality Siphon and Life Remnants help drain health from enemies, while Sunder the Flesh increases critical hit chances for buffs, and Gore Spike boosts attack damage.

Sorcerer Ascendancy Classes in PoE2
Stormweaver
The Stormweaver Sorcerer excels in dealing massive elemental damage with high critical hit chances, often triggering Elemental Storm via Tempest Caller. Key to their gameplay is inflicting status ailments, enhanced by Strike Twice. Utilizing Spirit Gems, Stormweavers can amplify elemental damage against groups of affected enemies. Constant Gale and Force of Will boost spell casting speed and MP regeneration, crucial for this magic-heavy class. The Heart of the Storm node converts part of Elemental Damage into an Energy Shield, improving survivability.

Chronomancer
The Chronomancer introduces a unique class to Path of Exile 2, focusing on time manipulation to control the flow of battle. Exclusive spells like Temporal Rift and Time Freeze open up new combat possibilities. Although not the strongest Sorcerer Ascendancy at the moment, it holds significant potential. Skills such as Now and Again, Apex of the Moment, and Quicksand Hourglass enhance spellcasting and combat strategy.

Warrior Ascendancy Classes in PoE2
Warbringer
The Warbringer combines war cries with totem summons for close combat, maximizing melee damage. Effective against bosses, totems distract enemies and absorb damage. Enhance armor penetration with Imploding Impacts and Anvil’s Weight. Warcaller’s Bellow causes enemy corpses to explode upon Warcry use, while Greatwolf’s Howl removes Warcry cooldowns. For a defensive approach, Renly’s Training and Turtle Charm improve shield and blocking capabilities.

Titan
For those who prefer control over risk, the Titan offers powerful, slow attacks that paralyze enemies. Stone Skin increases gear's defensive power by 50%, and Mysterious Lineage boosts max HP by 15%. Titans aren't just defensive; they deal significant damage with unique abilities like Earthbreaker and Ancestral Empowerment, enhancing Slam abilities. Surprising Strength increases damage against stunned enemies by 40%.

Monk Ascendancy Classes in PoE2
Invoker
The Invoker enables Monks to harness elemental power, granting access to powerful abilities and status-enhancing effects. This melee-focused class uses elemental damage and status effects to devastate enemies, with the added strategic depth of Power Charges to enhance skills.

Acolyte of Chayula
The Acolyte of Chayula embraces Darkness and commands dark forces from Chayula. By using Embrace the Darkness, the Acolyte can forgo Spirit for a maximum Darkness of 100, increasing survivability. Combining Consuming Questions with Mana Leech reinforces defenses, though this setup removes the Energy Shield cooldown, making it less efficient until future updates. Currently, this Ascendancy is less effective than the Invoker.

Mercenary Ascendancy Classes in PoE2
Witchhunter
The Witchhunter is among the strongest classes in the current version of PoE2, excelling at hunting and swiftly eliminating demons and the undead. It deals increased damage on both the first and last hits, perfect for clearing weaker enemies and crucial against bosses with skills like Pitiless Killer and Judge, Jury, and Executioner. Witchbane and No Mercy reduce enemy concentration and deal increased damage, while Zealous Inquisition has a chance to make slain enemies explode, damaging nearby foes.

Gemling Legionnaire
The Gemling Legionnaire's gameplay revolves around gems, enhancing resistances based on equipped stones' colors with Thaumaturgical Infusion. Crystalline Potential and Implanted Gems boost skill levels, while Advanced Thaumaturgy reduces skill costs and attribute requirements. Integrated Efficiency adds three additional skill slots, and Gem Studded allows using two identical Support stones, offering vast potential for experimentation and powerful builds.

Ranger Ascendancy Classes in PoE2
Deadeye
The Deadeye follows a familiar ranged combat style, increasing effective attack range and enhancing damage output. Endless Munitions allows firing an additional projectile per skill use, ideal for clearing screens of enemies. This path suits players favoring classic bows and elemental damage, offering increased movement speed, extra projectiles, and an additional Mark.

Pathfinder
The Pathfinder excels in poisoning, draining enemies' health twice as effectively. Overwhelming Toxicity doubles the Poison applied but shortens its duration. This class uses gas grenades combined with high movement speed and slow resistance to cover battlefields in toxic mist. If you enjoy poison mechanics and unique gameplay, the Pathfinder is your ideal choice.

Remember, we've covered twelve of the planned thirty-six Ascendancy Classes. As PoE2 progresses through early access, these are the currently available specialization paths, but more will be added over time. Future updates may also change passive skills, so the details in this guide may vary from the final version.
