Albion Online's Rogue Frontier Update: Smugglers, New Weapons, and More!
Sandbox Interactive's medieval fantasy MMORPG, Albion Online, is set to release its next major update, Rogue Frontier, on February 3rd. This first major update of the year introduces exciting new content centered around a rebellious faction: The Smugglers.
Outland Adventures
The Smugglers, tired of the Royal Continent's strict laws, have established a presence in the Outlands, setting up hidden underground bases known as Smuggler's Dens. These dens serve as crucial hubs for players, offering banking, repair services, and a central location for planning expeditions. Each den is connected to the Smuggler's Network, a sophisticated system linking marketplaces throughout the Outlands.
Players can actively participate in the ongoing conflict between the Smugglers and the Royal Guards. Assist the Smugglers by rescuing captured members or delivering contraband hidden within Smuggler Crates.
Rewards for Loyalty
Show your allegiance to the Smugglers and be rewarded by Maggy Slade, a mysterious trader residing in the dens. Earn valuable rewards, including a Smuggler's Vanity Set, a Smuggler's Cape (featuring a unique ability to reduce potion cooldowns), a Smuggler's Ring, and a new Avatar.
New additions in Rogue Frontier include Kill Trophies, dropped by defeated players. The quality of the loot from the vanquished opponent directly impacts the chance of obtaining a Kill Trophy.
Stylish New Weapons
Rogue Frontier introduces a range of stylish new weapons:
- Rotcaller Staff: Summons a chilling mist that repels enemies.
- Skystrider Bow: Allows players to levitate and unleash devastating attacks from above.
- Forcepulse Bracers: Unleash shockwaves as you dash into combat.
