This bundle includes the system and a download code for the Mario Kart World game, available from the launch day. If you prefer to buy Mario Kart World separately, be prepared to spend $79.99, as that's Nintendo's recommended retail price for this fan-favorite racer.

Currently, you can register your interest with Nintendo to be notified about preorders for the Nintendo Switch 2 and its accessories through the My Nintendo Store. Invitations to purchase will be sent via email on a first-come, first-served basis, prioritizing users with a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online membership and at least 50 gameplay hours as of April 2, 2025. After priority users receive their invites, the remaining eligible registrants will be considered. These invitations are non-transferable and valid for 72 hours. You're limited to purchasing one system and one of each accessory per account. Additionally, all major retailers are expected to open up preorders on April 9, 2025.
