NetEase officially announces the end-of-service (EOS) for their popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile. After a four-year run on Android, the game will be shutting down. This mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's hit title, initially released on PC in June 2016, launched on mobile in April 2020. However, the PC and console versions will remain operational.
Dead by Daylight Mobile offered a thrilling 4v1 asymmetrical horror experience, pitting Killers against Survivors in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse. Players could choose to stalk and sacrifice Survivors as a Killer, or fight for survival as a Survivor attempting to evade capture.
Dead by Daylight Mobile Shutdown Date:
The official EOS date for Dead by Daylight Mobile is March 20th, 2025. The game will be removed from app stores on January 16th, 2025, meaning new downloads will no longer be possible after that date. Existing players can continue to enjoy the game until the final shutdown on March 20th.
NetEase will process refunds according to regional laws. Further details regarding the refund process will be released on January 16th, 2025.
Players wishing to continue their Dead by Daylight experience can transition to the PC or console versions. A special Welcome Package awaits those making the switch, and loyalty rewards will be offered to players who have spent money or accumulated XP in the mobile game.
