Digital Sun, in collaboration with publisher 11 bit studios, is bringing to life this isometric action-adventure RPG that incorporates roguelike elements. In Moonlighter 2, players will once again take on the role of a shopkeeper, striving to transform their modest store into a thriving business. To achieve this, they'll need to brave dungeons, collecting rare artifacts and facing off against formidable creatures.
Digital Sun has promised that Moonlighter 2 will build upon the original game's core, offering richer narratives and improved gameplay mechanics. The sequel follows the journey of the protagonist, Will, as he seeks to find his way back to his home dimension within the vast world of Trense. Along his quest, Will reconnects with familiar faces and forges new alliances, including a mysterious trader who entrusts him with the mission to uncover powerful relics that could lead him back home.
Enhancing the immersive experience, the game's soundtrack is composed by the renowned Chris Larkin, famous for his work on Hollow Knight. Fans can look forward to the release of Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault later this year on PC (via Steam), Xbox Series, and PS5.
