A New Hub For Hunters ---------------------The showcase kicked off with a detailed look at the new endgame hub, aptly named the Grand Hub. This expansive area offers numerous activities for hunters to enjoy, including feasting together, arm wrestling, and enjoying nightly performances by the Diva. Additionally, a fun Barrel Bowling mini-game has been introduced, where players can earn vouchers and rewards through various in-game activities.
Unlock the Grand Hub by reaching Hunter Rank 16 and speaking to Tetsuzan in Suja, the Peaks of Accord.
Mizutsune Arrives
A highlight of Title Update 1 is the arrival of the elegant yet deadly Mizutsune. With swift tail strikes and powerful water jets, this monster will test your skills in the Scarlet Forest. To engage with Mizutsune, reach HR 21 and speak to Kanya for the quest. Successful hunts will yield materials for new gear.
Additional Hunts on the Way
An exciting new Event Quest will introduce Arch-tempered Rey Dau, a formidable foe above the usual Tempered fights. Hunters at HR 50 and above can take on this challenge and earn new armor upon victory. Additionally, Zoh Shia, previously a one-time story fight, will be available for repeated battles through new quests at HR 50, allowing players to craft new armor from the spoils.
Arena Quests
Speedrunners will find a new challenge in Arena Quests, designed for competitive play with the fastest clear times as the goal. Both Challenge Quests and Free Challenge Quests will be accessible at the counter in the Grand Hub, offering pendants for participation and achievement.
Change Alma's Outfit
The beloved handler Alma is getting a wardrobe update. Players can now change Alma's appearance through an in-camp menu, with one new outfit available for free. Completing a specific side mission will also unlock the option to change Alma's glasses, adding a personal touch to your adventures.
More DLC is on the way
Title Update 1 will bring a mix of free and paid DLC, including classic Monster Hunter gestures available for free in the store. The Cosmetic DLC Pack 1 offers additional customization options, accessible through the store or via the Cosmetic DLC Pass and Premium Deluxe Edition. Look forward to new stickers, outfits for Alma, and more.
More Event Quests and Seasonal Events
Prepare for more Event Quests and engaging Seasonal Events. During these events, the Grand Hub will transform, featuring different meals and exclusive limited-time equipment, gestures, and decorations. The first Seasonal Event, the Festival of Accord: Blossomdance, begins on April 23, bringing a splash of pink cherry blossoms and new decor. Capcom assures that most past events and Event Quests will return in the future.
The Roadmap Ahead
Here's what to expect in the coming months: Title Update 1 launches on April 3 for U.S. players, followed by the Blossomdance event on April 22. The challenging Arch-tempered Rey Dau arrives on April 29, and additional features and a Capcom collaboration will debut by the end of May.
Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 2
The showcase concluded with a teaser for Title Update 2, set to arrive this summer. While a specific date is yet to be confirmed, a glimpse of the potential return of the underwater leviathan Lagiacrus was shown, hinting at thrilling battles on the horizon.
