Monster Hunter Wilds offers 14 weapon types, unchanged since Monster Hunter 4 and the Insect Glaive's introduction. While Tokuda expressed interest in a new weapon, he explained the difficulties in creating one that doesn't overlap existing options. Phase 2 of the MH Wilds x MH Now collaboration event begins February 28, 2025, featuring the Chatacabra and 12 Hope weapons from MH Wilds. Two new layered armors (Hope and Seikret mount-themed) will also be available. Players can earn vouchers for MH Wilds items via limited-time quests.
