MLBB Women’s Invitational returns in July 2025
16 teams will compete from July 15th to 19th
Can Smart Omega Empress defend their title?
Following one of the most thrilling finishes in the 2024 Esports World Cup, the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women’s Invitational (MWI) is officially returning to Riyadh in July 2025. Last year, Smart Omega Empress stunned the scene with a historic upset, defeating the dominant Team Vitality in the Grand Final and ending their three-year, 24-tournament winning streak.
This year, the stakes rise even higher as 16 of the world’s top all-women MLBB teams battle for glory and a record-breaking prize pool. Running from July 15th to 19th, MWI 2025 will begin with a double-elimination Group Stage featuring all 16 qualified teams.
The top eight will advance to a single-elimination playoff bracket, where the remaining teams vie for a share of the $550,000 prize pool, plus a $10,000 MVP bonus awarded to the tournament’s standout performer.
This year’s qualification structure is wider than ever, drawing elite talent from nearly every region. Already confirmed are powerhouses like DreamMax from the MWI 2025 LATAM Qualifiers, CFU Serendipity from Queen Legends Season 1, NAVI MY from the MYSG Qualifier, and Falcons Vega MENA from the Carry1st Africa Cup.

Additional slots will be filled through ongoing regional events such as BOG Season 1, Athena League, and Lady MVP Season 6, with further qualifiers from China, North America, Mekong, Mongolia, and Türkiye concluding in the coming weeks.
MWI’s return is part of the broader Esports World Cup 2025—a global event uniting top clubs across multiple titles in a unique cross-game format. Smart Omega Empress returns as defending champions, but with powerhouse teams from every corner of the globe ready to challenge, nothing is certain.
