Mecha BREAK Developers Considering Making All Mechs Free
During its open beta on Steam, which concluded on March 16, Mecha BREAK attracted over 300,000 players, positioning it as the 5th most wishlisted game on the platform. This overwhelming response has prompted the Chinese developer, Amazing Seasun, to seriously consider unlocking all 12 Break Strikers (mechs) from the outset.
Currently, players start with access to just one Break Striker, with the option to unlock others through in-game currency earned by playing numerous multiplayer matches. This grind can be time-consuming, potentially deterring new players from fully engaging with the game.
Amazing Seasun is exploring adjustments to the availability of Break Strikers and the mechanics of mech modules for both 3v3 and 6v6 competitive modes. While the company has not made any final decisions, it remains committed to a live service model at launch, which it believes is crucial for the long-term success of Mecha BREAK.
