Marvel Snap’s latest season, *Masters of the Arcane*, is now live—and it's packed with powerful new characters, enchanting locations, and a fresh twist on one of the game’s most popular limited-time modes. This season introduces an array of mystic heroes and villains from Marvel’s rich lore, including Clea, Kid Omega, Morgan Le Fay, and the ever-menacing Dread Dormammu. Whether you're a fan of Doctor Strange, Ghost Rider, or just love all things magical, there’s plenty to dive into.
At the heart of *Masters of the Arcane* are the mystical characters making their debut in Marvel Snap. From Merlin (who’s definitely not the kindly wizard you might expect), to Morgan Le Fay, Nicholas Scratch, Jennifer Kale, The Ancient One, Nightmare, and the fiery Dormammu, this season brings together some of the most iconic—and sometimes underrated—figures from the Marvel universe. Clea and Kid Omega also join the roster, with Cobra rounding out the group as a surprisingly eager participant. These new cards will be released gradually through July 1st, starting with Nicholas Scratch and Morgan Le Fay available right now.
High Voltage: Overdrive – A Chaotic New Twist
If that wasn’t exciting enough, Marvel Snap players can look forward to the limited-time mode *High Voltage: Overdrive*, active from June 16th to June 25th. This electrifying variation of the beloved High Voltage mode introduces a dramatic change: once five Charge cards have been played, the reactor explodes, triggering unpredictable effects that shake up every match. It's a wild experience that adds a fresh layer of strategy, and best of all, completing missions during this event grants access to exclusive cards like Kid Omega and Cobra.
New Locations & Shop Takeovers
Making the season even more immersive are two brand-new locations: Camelot and the Astral Plane. These settings not only offer visually stunning backdrops but may also influence how your matches play out, adding another dimension to your deck-building choices. Additionally, throughout June, the in-game shop will feature special artist takeovers, showcasing artwork from talents like Pandart Studio and Dan Hipp—making it a great time to collect unique visual styles and standout cards.
