Marvel Rivals Welcomes Invisible Woman and More in Season 1
Get ready for a major update to Marvel Rivals! NetEase Games has unveiled exciting new content arriving on January 10th, 1 AM PST, with the launch of Season 1: Eternal Darkness Falls. This includes the highly anticipated addition of the Fantastic Four's Invisible Woman, alongside new maps, a fresh game mode, and a revamped battle pass.
A recent gameplay trailer showcases Invisible Woman's unique abilities. She's classified as a Strategist, utilizing attacks that both damage foes and heal allies. Her kit also features a knockback, invisibility, a double jump for enhanced mobility, and a protective shield for teammates. Her ultimate ability creates a zone of invisibility, disrupting ranged attackers.
Mister Fantastic also makes his debut in Season 1, demonstrating his versatility as a Duelist. The trailer highlights his stretching attacks and defensive capabilities, suggesting a blend of Vanguard and Duelist attributes.
While Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman arrive on January 10th, Human Torch and The Thing will join the fray later in the season. NetEase Games confirmed that seasons will run approximately three months, with significant mid-season updates (around six to seven weeks post-launch) introducing additional characters.
Initially, some players anticipated the arrival of Blade, especially given leaked information about his character model and abilities. However, Dracula will be the primary antagonist for Season 1. Despite this, anticipation remains high for future updates and the continued expansion of Marvel Rivals' roster.
