Marvel Contest of Champions is preparing for a flurry of exciting updates, including the highly anticipated Summoner’s Choice Champion and a Valentine’s Day celebration. Alongside the fan-voted champion, a giveaway celebrates the release of Captain America: Brave New World.
Major Additions
Arnim Zola, the brilliant scientist who transformed himself into a robot to continue his villainous schemes, joins the roster as a new villain on February 13th.
On February 27th, Joaquin Torres makes his debut as the new Falcon. Kidnapped by the Sons of the Serpent and subjected to experimentation, this part-human, part-falcon hybrid embraces his powers, inheriting the Falcon mantle from Sam Wilson.
To commemorate Captain America: Brave New World, Marvel Contest of Champions is giving away Captain America (Sam Wilson) and Red Hulk absolutely free! This giveaway runs from February 13th to March 30th, with star rarity determined by your in-game progression.
The Summoner’s Choice Champion
Following over 1.2 million votes, Mr. Knight has been crowned the next Summoner’s Choice Champion! This enigmatic figure, known for his multiple personalities, sharp style, and lunar-powered abilities, will join The Contest later this year.
Valentine’s Day and Beyond
The "Love is a Battlerealm" sale runs from February 14th to 21st, perfect for celebrating Valentine’s Day. Additionally, a Brave New World login calendar, offering daily bonuses, Champions, and profile pictures themed around the new movie, will be available from February 13th to March 30th.
The "Til Deathless Do Us Part" side quest, running from February 5th to March 5th, features Captain America and Falcon attempting to broker peace with the newly formed Deathless faction, including Guillotine, She-Hulk, Vision, and King Groot.
Battlegrounds Pre-Season 26 introduces the "True Bromance" event from February 12th to 19th. Completing Solo Objectives and a special Solo Event will reward players with Crystals, Profile Pictures, Emotes, and more.
