Despite Kingdom Come: Deliverance II launching in significantly better condition than its predecessor, the game still faces the typical technical challenges seen in large-scale RPGs with ambitious designs. Warhorse Studios is diligently working on post-launch enhancements, with their upcoming patch poised to be a major undertaking.
In a recent interview with Tech4gamers, Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, the global PR manager, revealed that the forthcoming patch has been in development for over five months and will address more than 1,000 bugs.
"This patch has been in development for over five months and includes well over a thousand fixes."
Gamers are keenly anticipating whether the patch will introduce more than just bug fixes, such as new gameplay mechanics or quality-of-life improvements. Given the extensive development time, there is optimism for significant enhancements, though exact details will only be clear once the complete patch notes are released.

Additionally, Warhorse Studios has confirmed that Kingdom Come: Deliverance II will receive official mod support within the next two weeks. However, the initial modding capabilities will be limited; for example, players won't be able to create custom missions right away. The studio plans to expand the modding tools in future updates. As of now, no specific release date for the patch has been announced.
