Alphadia III has officially launched on Android for global players today, marking the third installment in the popular Alphadia series. Developed by EXE CREATE and published by KEMCO, the game initially debuted in Japan last October.
What’s the Story in Alphadia III?
Set in the Alphadian Year 970, Alphadia III plunges players into the climactic stages of the Energi War, a fierce battle over the control of a mysterious life force known as energi. The world is split between three major powers: the Schwarzschild Empire in the north, the Nordsheim Kingdom in the west, and the Luminea Alliance in the east.
As tensions reach a boiling point, the story introduces a clone soldier named Alfonso. His journey begins with a pivotal moment when a girl named Tarte informs him of another clone's death, sparking a transformative shift within him.
What’s the Gameplay Like?
Alphadia III retains the series' signature turn-based combat, presented in a classic side-view pixel art style. Players can utilize SP Skills, which accumulate during battles and can dramatically shift the tide when used strategically.
The game introduces Arrays, dynamic battle formations and strategies that unlock as you progress, offering varied combat approaches tailored to different adversaries. A new feature, the Energi Crock, allows players to convert surplus items into Energi Elements over time, which can be exchanged for equipment or other valuable items at in-game shops.
Throughout the game, players will encounter various factions, including the peacekeeping alliance Deval and the elite military unit Rosenkreutz from Nordsheim. Additionally, different energi clone models are featured, such as the Berger Series from Nordsheim and the Delta Series from Schwarzschild.
Beyond the main storyline, Alphadia III offers a wealth of side content and is optimized for controller use. The game is available on the Google Play Store for $7.99, with a freemium version also accessible on Android that includes ads.
