Eldgear's turn-based combat system offers strategic depth despite its straightforward presentation. Intriguing mechanics add layers of complexity. The EMA (Embedding Abilities) system allows equipping three abilities per unit, offering tactical flexibility through stat boosts, stealth capabilities, or support functions like acting as a bodyguard. The EXA (Expanding Abilities) system unlocks devastating special moves upon reaching maximum Tension during battles.
