Infinity Nikki has announced compensation for the issues encountered in the release of version 1.5. Dive into the details to discover what players can expect and what developer Infold Games is planning to address these concerns.
Infinity Nikki Version 1.5 Updates
Free Diamonds as Compensation
The much-anticipated release of Infinity Nikki version 1.5 left many fans disappointed due to unfulfilled promises from developer Infold Games. On May 18, via a post on Twitter (X), Infold Games acknowledged the "unstable game environment and unsatisfactory content" and offered compensation to players.
The update introduced numerous technical issues and bugs across various platforms, making the game unplayable for some. Additionally, sudden system changes increased the cost of 5-star outfits from 9 or 10 pieces to 11 pieces, requiring up to 220 pulls to complete an outfit, significantly raising the time and cost for players.
A new dye system was also introduced, which many players found confusing and cumbersome due to the need to unlock color palettes for each clothing item. The Threads of Reunion storyline was removed from this update as the related outfit remains in development. "Due to technical hurdles in Version 1.5, we were unable to properly refine the introduction of the Sea of Stars chapter and the narrative setup for Threads of Reunion, which regrettably led to confusion," the developers stated.
In response to player feedback, Infold Games announced, "As compensation for Version 1.5's shortcomings and schedule changes, all stylists will receive Diamond 120 and Energy Crystal 1 every day from June 5 to June 12, totaling Diamond 960 and Energy Crystal 8." Despite this, the studio has not yet outlined a clear plan to address these issues, leading to widespread concern among fans about the pity system changes, the dye system, and other bugs.
Delayed Version 1.6
Due to the problematic release of version 1.5, the developers have extended its duration to allow more time to resolve these issues. Consequently, version 1.6 has been delayed until June 12, 2025, impacting the schedule of in-game events.
The new weekly task, Starlit Pursuit, initially set for May 20, will now launch with version 1.6. Infold Games stated, "This delay allows us to refine task mechanics for a smoother experience. Additional details will be announced at a later date—please stay tuned." Players will receive 360 Starlit Crystals as compensation for this delay.
More Unlisted Adjustments On The Way
Infold Games is actively working on addressing the broader issues introduced by version 1.5. "There are also unlisted adjustments under discussion. Some changes require extended development cycles, but we commit to implementing them through phased updates," they explained.
To improve communication with the community, Infold Games is launching the Miraland Round Table initiative. Players can voice their concerns and provide feedback directly to the developers by emailing the game’s official email account with "Table Advisor" in the subject line or through the in-game Customer Service option.
Infold Games expressed "guilt over delayed promises, yet gratitude for your unwavering support." They are committed to making the game "shine brighter than ever."
