Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.7: "A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn" Launches, Concluding the Penacony Chapter
Honkai: Star Rail's Version 2.7 update, titled "A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn," has arrived, bringing the Penacony chapter to a close. This update introduces new characters, events, and features before the Astral Express journeys to Amphoreus, the Eternal Land.
This final stop in Penacony features two new 5-star characters:
- Sunday: An Imaginary-type support character boosting ally damage and summons, with an ultimate skill providing regeneration and further damage enhancements.
- Fugue: A reimagined 5-star Fire-type Tingyun, specializing in shattering enemy defenses and increasing squadmates' Break Effect damage.
The limited Warp event also features the return of popular characters Jing Yuan and Firefly. Version 2.7 also adds new in-game features, including a relaxing Party Car and customizable Trailblazer quarters accessible through the Cosmic Home Décor Guide event. Future updates, starting with Version 3.0, promise further enhancements, including Relic system improvements, the Path of Remembrance storyline continuation, and new memosprites. A free 5-star character is available through the Gift of the Express event, lasting until Version 3.2.
