Honkai Impact 3rd's v8.1 update, "Drumming in New Resolutions," arrives on February 20th with exciting new content including battlesuits, outfits, and anniversary rewards.
What's Coming in v8.1
Kiana returns with her powerful new SD-type battlesuit, "Ba-Dum! Fiery Wishing Star," wielding a long staff to deliver devastating 4-sequence Fire DMG attacks. Her combat style accumulates Passion Marks for explosive AOE damage, further enhanced by her signature weapon and PRI-ARM upgrades.
The Herrscher of Human: Ego also receives new equipment including a Divine Key, PRI-ARM, and matching stigmatas to maximize her potential.
Story Developments
The update continues Leylah's story after v8.0's Spring Festival dream sequence. Kiana, now back in reality, teams up with Rice Cake on a new mission from Theresa that takes them to the Moon Base for a special celebration event.
Completing the interlude chapters rewards players with Crystals, Source Prisms, and other valuable items.
New Gameplay Features
A festive board game mechanic lets players collect Yearly Chibis to build their dream team. By earning shop tokens through gameplay, you can exchange them for Crystals, Coralie's new outfit, and more exclusive rewards.
New Outfits Available
Coralie isn't the only character getting new threads - Luna's outfit will be available through spend bonuses, while Vita's costume appears in Outfit Supply.
Anniversary Celebration
Daily login rewards include:
- 7-day streak: Prism Stigma Direct Level-Up Coupon and anniversary emblem
- Post-update 7-day streak: Herrscher of Human's Stigma Option + 10 Equipment Supply Cards
- February 25-March 4: S-rank Battlesuit Option and additional goodies
All players will receive 5 free Battlesuit Supply Cards when the update launches.
