If you've been keeping up with the Pocket Gamer team's weekly Wrapps, you'll know just how much I've been diving into Hearthstone lately. However, it looks like I'm about to fall behind with the release of its latest update. The "Into the Emerald Dream" update is set to launch on March 25th and will introduce a whopping 145 new cards, shaking up your strategies and combat tactics.
Along with these new cards, we're getting fresh Keywords to master: Imbue (for Druid, Hunter, Mage, Paladin, Priest, and Shaman) and Dark Gifts (for Death Knight, Demon Hunter, Rogue, Warlock, and Warrior). I'm still wrapping my head around how these will impact the flow of battles, but it's clear they're set to change the meta, especially with the expanded keyword Choose One. Every class will receive a Choose One card, offering you the flexibility to select between two modes in battle.
Adding to the excitement, there's a new Legendary minion stirring the pot: Ysera, Emerald Aspect. It's safe to say I'll have my work cut out for me when facing off against these new decks.
