Pokémon GO's Halloween event is almost here! Niantic has revealed the details for Part 1, with a Part 2 to follow. Get ready for exciting features and spooky encounters!
The event begins Tuesday, October 22nd, at 10:00 a.m. local time and runs until Monday, October 28th, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.
Event Highlights:
Morpeko makes its Pokémon GO debut! This Electric/Dark-type Pokémon boasts unique battle mechanics. Its Full Belly and Hangry Modes alter its Aura Wheel attack (Electric in Full Belly Mode, Dark in Hangry Mode), both packing a 100-power punch and boosting Attack.
During the event, encounter Morpeko more frequently in the GO Battle League's premium track. Post-event, it will remain available from Rank 16 onwards, though more common in premium battles.
Enjoy a special Halloween atmosphere with festive decorations and a remix of the classic Lavender Town theme music playing nightly.
Dynamax Gastly appears in one-star Max Battles, alongside Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble.
A free Timed Research event, running from October 22nd to November 3rd, focuses on Spiritomb and its 108 spirits. Complete tasks to encounter Halloween Pokémon, including Spiritomb and Morpeko.
