In *Monster Hunter Wilds*, the thrill of the hunt extends beyond battling terrifying creatures. The game features a vast, open world that invites exploration and a variety of quests to keep hunters engaged. For those on the hunt for the elusive Rime Beetle, here’s a comprehensive guide to help you locate and capture this unique creature.
How to Find the Rime Beetle in Monster Hunter Wilds
If you've forgotten the hint given by Samin, your quest for the Rime Beetle will lead you to the Iceshard Cliffs region. This isn't as simple as setting a waypoint and letting your Seikret navigate; instead, you'll need to rely on your observation skills and a bit of luck.
The Rime Beetle is relatively easy to spot once you know what to look for. This endemic creature has a unique habit of rolling up balls of packed snow, making it stand out in snowy environments. In the Iceshard Cliffs, focus your search on Areas 2, 7, 8, 11, and 13. As you traverse these snow-covered areas, keep an eye out for the Rime Beetle's snowballs. Additionally, if you notice tracks in the snow, follow them as they might lead you directly to the beetle.
