Google Play Store's potential new feature: Auto-launching downloaded apps! Ever download an app and forget to open it? Google may have the answer. A new feature, reportedly in development, will automatically launch apps upon completion of their download.
The Details:
According to Android Authority, a teardown of Play Store version 41.4.19 reveals a potential "App Auto Open" feature. This would eliminate the need to manually locate and open newly installed apps. The app will launch automatically after download completion.
Crucially, this feature will be entirely optional. Users can enable or disable it based on their preference.
How it will work:
Upon successful download, a notification banner (lasting approximately 5 seconds) will appear at the top of the screen. Your phone may also vibrate or chime, ensuring you don't miss it.
Important Note:
This information is based on an APK teardown and is not officially confirmed by Google. There is no official release date yet. We will update you as soon as more information becomes available.
