In *Path of Exile 2*, collecting Golden Idols during Act 3 is a unique quest that doesn't appear in your quest log but offers substantial rewards. Unlike traditional Quest Items, these Golden Idols can be sold for a significant amount of gold, making them a valuable find for any player.
How to Find Golden Idols in Path of Exile 2
Upon reaching Act 3 and delving into the ruins of the Vaal civilization beneath the Ziggurat Encampment, you'll be transported back in time to the once-magnificent Vaal city of Utzaal, known as The Drowned City in the present. This city showcases the Vaal at its peak, but don't let its splendor distract you from your goal.
Within the city of Utzaal and the connected area of Aggorat, you'll discover five Golden Idols. These Quest Items are scattered throughout Utzaal and Aggorat: three in Utzaal and two in Aggorat.

Golden Idols in Aggorat:

- Elegant Idol
These Golden Idols are found on the ground or on pedestals, often in side rooms connected to each area. They do not drop from enemies, so keep an eye out as you explore.
What to Do with Golden Idols in Path of Exile 2
Once you've collected a Golden Idol, head back to the Ziggurat Encampment to trade it for gold. Not all vendors will accept these unique items, but **Oswald**, located on the north side of the encampment, will. When you speak to him and open the Buy & Sell screen, you can sell each Idol for a respectable amount of gold:
- Golden Idol: 500 Gold
- Grand Idol: 1000 Gold
- Glorious Idol: 1500 Gold
- Elegant Idol: 1000 Gold
- Exceptional Idol: 1500 Gold
If you manage to collect all five Golden Idols during your exploration of Utzaal and Aggorat, you'll amass a total of **6000 Gold**. Since these items take up inventory space and have no other use than being sold, it's wise to return to the encampment to sell them as soon as you find them, freeing up space for further exploration.
