Shuyu's Baffling Beetle Battle Bowl is a limited-time event in Genshin Impact Version 5.3, challenging players to beetle battles. This guide provides a straightforward approach to conquering all five battles.

Event Requirements:

To participate, you must meet these criteria:

• Adventure Rank 20 or higher.
• Completion of the Mondstadt Archon Quest Prologue. While not mandatory, completing Xianyun's Story Quest "Grus Serena Chapter" adds context and introduces Shuyu.

Gameplay Mechanics:

The event is simple: you control an Onikabuto beetle in simulated battles within your Serenitea Pot at Mt. Aocang against various enemies. Controls are intuitive – Forward, Backward, and Jump – but strategic timing and stamina management are key. Stamina is consumed with movement, especially during sustained directional movement or powerful Piercing Strikes (performed by holding the attack button).

Battle Strategies:

Here's a breakdown of each of the five stages and recommended tactics:

1. Staff Master (Basic Hilichurl): Repeated head strikes are effective. Observe ground markings to anticipate attacks and dodge accordingly.
2. Torch-Wielding Berserker: Target the Hilichurl Berserker's head. The Pyro Slime it carries is also a vulnerable point, especially when preparing to throw it.
3. Pyro Abyss Mage: Interrupt its spellcasting to minimize damage. Once the spell is interrupted, attack repeatedly.
4. Cryo Abyss Mage: Employ the same strategy as the Pyro Abyss Mage.
5. Stonehide Lawachurl: Focus on quick, successive attacks. A Geo Slime will appear; use a Piercing Strike for maximum damage on the Slime.

Difficulty Selection and Co-op:

Choose the "Focused Fight" (two-star) difficulty for optimal Primogem rewards (30-20 per stage). "Utmost Might" (three-star) offers Mora and Enhancement Ores but no Primogems. Unlock it after clearing "Focused Fight." Consult the "Dossier on Opponent" for enemy weaknesses if needed. A co-op mode allows teamwork with other players.

Rewards:

Complete all stages on "Focused Fight" to earn a substantial Primogem reward. Other rewards include Hero's Wit, Sanctifying Unction, Mora, and Mystic Enhancement Ore. "Utmost Might" difficulty yields a total of 420 Primogems.
