After nine years since its debut, Clash Royale's Inferno Dragon finally receives an Evolution upgrade. This fiery Legendary troop gets a major power boost in Supercell's latest update. The developers partnered with Finnish comedian Ismo Leikola for a hilarious reveal trailer.

The Evolution upgrade fundamentally changes the Inferno Dragon's mechanics. Unlike the original version that reset its damage ramp when switching targets, the evolved variant maintains its increasing damage output for devastating results.
New Season "How to Evolve Your Dragon!" Now Live
This update reintroduces the popular 2v2 League mode, where players can partner with friends or random allies to climb the competitive ladder.
Milestone Events begin at Arena 7, offering valuable rewards including Lumberjack Evolution Shards, Epic Books of Cards, and exclusive cosmetic items.
Crown Chase events feature two phases: the first awards a complete Battle Banner set plus an Epic Book of Cards, while the second provides additional Evolution Shards.
Players can experience special Evolution-themed events throughout June into early July:
- Inferno Dragon Evolution Draft (June 2-9)
- Inferno Dragon Challenge (June 6-9) with exclusive Battle Banner and Emote
- Evolution Mayhem (June 9-16) - decks with up to 4 Evolution Cards
- Magical Trio (June 16-23), 4 Card Showdown (June 23-30)
- Evolution Bonanza (June 30-July 7) - decks with up to 8 Evolution Cards
