Charlie Cox's portrayal of Daredevil has seamlessly transitioned from Netflix to the MCU, sparking speculation about potential comebacks for other members of The Defenders. Finn Jones, who played Iron Fist, recently expressed his enthusiasm for reprising his role, stating, "I’m here and I’m ready."
Jones last portrayed Danny Rand in the second season of the Netflix series "Iron Fist" and in "The Defenders," where he joined forces with Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter). Despite mixed reviews of his performance, Jones remains hopeful for a return.

The successful integration of Daredevil into the MCU has fueled hopes for a revival of The Defenders, with recent reports suggesting Marvel is "exploring" this possibility. At the LaConve anime convention in Monterrey, NL, Mexico, Jones addressed the criticism surrounding his portrayal of Iron Fist, showing a willingness to improve.
"[There is a] willingness for the fans to see that happen," Jones said during the convention, acknowledging both the support and the critiques he has received. "There’s a lot of willingness for the fans to see that not happen as well. I’m very aware of the critiques of the character and my role in it. My response to that is like, give me a f***ing chance, man. I’m here and I’m ready. I want to prove people wrong. So I would love to see that happen."

"Daredevil: Born Again" continues the story that began on Netflix, which once housed its own Marvel universe with shows like "Jessica Jones," "Iron Fist," and "Luke Cage." These series, along with the broader Defenders narrative, are now officially part of the MCU canon, available on Disney+. Jon Bernthal’s Punisher, previously exclusive to Netflix, also features in "Daredevil: Born Again."
