Farlight 84's new expansion, "Hi, Buddy!", arrives today, bringing exciting features like a Buddy System, map revamps, and new events.
Say Cute!
The star of the show is the Buddy System, introducing adorable pets to soften (slightly) the battlefield's intensity. These aren't just cute faces; Buddies offer in-game assistance. Two types exist: Common Buddies, easily captured with helpful abilities, and rarer Archon Buddies boasting powerful skills.
Acquire Buddies using Buddy Orbs, scattered throughout the map. These Orbs also store up to six tactical items, making them incredibly versatile.
Ten Buddies debut in "Hi, Buddy!": Common Buddies Buzzy, Morphdrake, Petal Peeper, Smokey, Snatchpaw, Squeaky, Sparky, and Zephy; and Archon Buddies Time Dominator (capable of shifting the Safe Zone) and Storm Empress (summoning a damaging tornado).

The Sunder Realms map receives a significant overhaul, featuring new terrain, structures, and landmarks—think ramps, upgraded buildings, giant duck statues, and floating boulders.
A new Tactical Core system lets you upgrade hero skills and unlock new abilities using Trait points earned through leveling up. However, Trait Activation Cards are needed to maximize these abilities.
Exciting events like the Buddy Showdown and Rare Consolidation Event offer rewards such as skins and loot boxes.
