Prepare for a trio of new Fairy Tail games! Kodansha Game Creators Lab and Hiro Mashima have announced a collaborative project, the "Fairy Tail Indie Game Guild," delivering three unique titles to PC gamers.
These games—Fairy Tail: Dungeons, Fairy Tail: Beach Volleyball Havoc, and Fairy Tail: Birth of Magic—are being developed by independent studios. Fairy Tail: Dungeons and Fairy Tail: Beach Volleyball Havoc are slated for release on August 26th and September 16th, 2024, respectively. Fairy Tail: Birth of Magic is currently under development, with further details to be announced later.
"This indie game initiative started with Hiro Mashima's desire for a Fairy Tail game," Kodansha explained in today's announcement video. "The developers are creating these games with their passion for Fairy Tail, incorporating their own unique styles. These games are designed to be enjoyed by both Fairy Tail fans and gamers alike."
Fairy Tail: Dungeons Arrives August 26th, 2024
Dive into a deck-building roguelite adventure in Fairy Tail: Dungeons. Players will guide Fairy Tail characters through dungeons, strategically using limited moves and skill cards to conquer enemies and delve deeper.
Developed by ginolabo, the game boasts a soundtrack by Hiroki Kikuta, the composer of Secret of Mana. The announcement promises a "vibrant backdrop of Celtic-inspired sounds" enhancing the battles and narrative.
