Escape from Tarkov received a big update to the version 0.16.0.0. While the technical works are still in the process, Battlestate Games released a huge changelog with all the new features and bug fixes. Also, a new Escape from Tarkov trailer has been out:

Highlights of Escape from Tarkov 0.16.0.0 update
Battlestate Games introduced a new Escape from Tarkov event called Khorovod. Like usual, it introduces special tasks with special rewards, but this time it also introduces a special Khorovod mode. The goal is to light a Christmas tree and protect it. It is available at a certain stage in six different locations.
Also, a big new feature is Prestige. In order to keep the fun for those who love to grind, Battlestate Games introduced Prestige mode to Escape from Tarkov PvP. The mechanics are somewhat similar to Call of Duty. After you achieve level 55, complete certain quests and achieve enough resources, you will have the option to reset the character while retaining some of the equipment and getting rewards that will not be affected by wipes. The rewards include achievements, different cosmetics and additional tasks.
Currently there will be only 2 prestige levels available, but later developers promise to add eight more. This should keep even the most dedicated Escape from Tarkov fans entertained.
