Nexon bids farewell to Dynasty Warriors M, its mobile adaptation of the acclaimed Dynasty Warriors franchise. The game's servers will officially shut down on February 20th, 2025, bringing an end to epic battles and strategic conquests within the Three Kingdoms.
In-app purchases were suspended on December 19th, 2024. While Nexon expressed gratitude to the player base, the official announcement offered no specific reason for the game's closure. Given the title's relatively short lifespan (launched November 2023) and apparent underperformance, the news comes as little surprise.
Dynasty Warriors M offered a unique blend of Musou action and strategic gameplay. Players could collect and develop 50 officers from five factions, battling across a vast map encompassing 13 regions and 500 stages. The game also featured a story mode covering pivotal historical events such as the Yellow Turban Rebellion and the Battle of Luoyang.
