Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio Launches Fan Vote for Like a Dragon's 20th Anniversary Merchandise
Vote for Your Favorite Like a Dragon Merchandise Until March 21, 2025!
Like a Dragon (LAD) celebrates its 20th anniversary in December 2025! Ryu Ga Gotoku (RGG) Studios has launched a fan voting project to decide which in-game items will be made into real-life merchandise.
Choose from over 100 items, including lingerie, incense, mahjong tiles, a karaoke microphone, a luxury lighter, 20th-anniversary sake, themed pillows, Kiryu's dragon mask, and many more iconic pieces from the series' history. The winning item, as announced on the RGG voting website, will be produced and released within the next two years.
Voting runs from February 8, 2025, to March 21, 2025. You can vote once per day. Following the voting period, a separate survey will determine the final design of the winning merchandise.
Like a Dragon's 20th Anniversary: More Yakuza Remakes on the Horizon?
RGG Studio first hinted at its 20th-anniversary plans in a December 8, 2024, Twitter (X) post celebrating its 19th anniversary. Director and Executive Producer Masayoshi Yokoyama expressed gratitude to fans and teased upcoming events and announcements.
Kicking off the celebrations, Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii releases on February 20, 2025. While specific details remain scarce, the studio’s 10th-anniversary celebrations—which included the announcement of Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami remakes—suggest exciting possibilities for the 20th anniversary. Fans eagerly anticipate further reveals.
Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii PC Requirements
Recommended Specs: No Problem for Most Gamers
RGG Studio announced the PC requirements for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii on February 10, 2025, via Twitter (X). The recommended graphics card is an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or equivalent, easily attainable for most modern gaming PCs.
With releases planned for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the PC requirements are relatively modest. RGG Studios also confirmed Steam Deck verification.
SEGA recently released a story trailer on YouTube, showcasing Majima's high-seas adventures, narrated by Pirate King Raymond Law (voiced by Samoa Joe).
