Summoning Your Hoverboard
Activating the Hoverboard is simple: hold down the Dodge button. Your Breaker will dash forward and automatically mount the Hoverboard, provided you continue holding the Dodge button.
Hoverboard controls are intuitive. The left analog stick controls direction; leaning the board subtly steers you, with turning speed dependent on your current velocity. At top speed, turns are slower. To dismount, simply release the Dodge button. The Hoverboard will also automatically deactivate if your Energy depletes. Monitor your Energy level (displayed next to your Breaker's companion) to avoid unexpected dismounts. Give it a moment to recharge if necessary.
Advanced Hoverboard Techniques & Uses
While the Hoverboard lacks trick maneuvers or attack capabilities, its utility extends beyond simple traversal. Crucially, it floats on water, eliminating the need to circumvent waterways. Its functionality remains consistent on both land and water. Note that you must be already on the Hoverboard when entering water for it to function; you cannot summon it while submerged.
While riding, holding the Jump button allows you to crouch for precise jump timing, particularly useful for navigating challenging gaps. While crouching doesn't enhance speed or jump height, it improves accuracy. Double jumping is not possible while on the Hoverboard.
