Your quest begins in the Settsu region, where you'll meet the compassionate priest, Shin’nyo. He will set you on the path to hunt down these lawless ronin and restore peace to the land. The Kabukimono are a colorful yet dangerous group, unconcerned with the laws they break or the lives they ruin. It's up to the assassins to bring them to justice and give the people hope.
There are eight Kabukimono members you need to track down. Here's how and where to find each one in Assassin’s Creed Shadows:
Ghost General
The Ghost General leads the Hungry Ghosts, a gang of ravenous ronin. To find him, head to the city of Sakai in the southwestern part of the Izumi Settsu region. In the western part of the city, you'll find the Money Changer District. Here, the Ghost General awaits. Given the numbers against you, it's wise to pick off his followers one by one or use Yasuke's strength to level the playing field.
Grave Dancer
The Grave Dancer leads the Defilers, a gang that respects nothing, not even the sanctity of the dead. From Sakai, travel northeast along the main road until you reach the Sumiyoshi Shrine, south of Osaka. Here, amidst the graves, you'll find the Grave Dancer. Dispatch him to his final resting place with your weapon of choice.
Ember
The Ember leads the Firebrands, a group intent on purifying the world through fire and destruction. Travel north from Sakai into Osaka, heading to the Fishermen’s District. North of this area, you'll find burned-down buildings where the Ember resides. Clear the area of his followers before confronting him to ensure a safer battle.
Big Sueki
Big Sueki and his gang are known for their love of sake and disregard for honor. To find him, go to Muko Post Town, just north of Amagasaki Castle in the western part of Izumi Settsu. Near the moat, use the bamboo and thickets to approach stealthily and end their revelry.
Chief Cuckoo
Once honorable samurai, the Chief Cuckoo and his group now terrorize the peasants. Head to the city of Katano in the central part of Izumi Settsu. At the southern edge, you'll find the Katano Oil Trading location, where the Chief Cuckoo awaits. Use the environment to your advantage for a dramatic and explosive confrontation.
Corrupt Blade, Laughing Man, and Peacock
After dealing with the other members, you'll face the final three: Corrupt Blade, Laughing Man, and Peacock. Head to the Nishinomiya Shrine west of Amagasaki Castle. At the entrance, you can choose to confront them individually or gather them in one location for a decisive battle. Opting for the latter, travel west to the Kakogawa Estuary, then northeast to Takagi Otsuka Fort. East of the fort, you'll find the trio in a courtyard next to a medium-sized hut. This battle will be challenging, but use the NPCs to distract them and strike when the opportunity arises. Eliminate all three to finally rid the land of the Kabukimono threat.
