Destiny 2's Grandmaster Nightfall relaunch has unearthed another reputation bug impacting Warlock players. While Destiny 2 has enjoyed a positive period with new content like "Into The Light" and "The Final Shape," recent weeks have seen a surge in game glitches. Bungie actively addresses these issues, yet new bugs appear with each weekly reset.
Recent examples include exploits granting free rewards in Crucible and unlimited Paracausal Shots with Hawkmoon. Warlocks have faced a persistent Gambit reputation bug, hindering their XP gains compared to Titans and Hunters. This problem, it turns out, extends beyond Gambit.
The June 25th weekly reset brought back Grandmaster Nightfalls, featuring boosted Vanguard reputation and double rewards. However, Warlocks are again experiencing significantly reduced XP gains compared to other classes.
Warlock Reputation Bug in Destiny 2
The community has identified this Vanguard reputation double XP issue, noting Warlocks receive less XP from ritual activities. Many players were initially unaware, only noticing the unusually slow progression. Surprisingly, this bug appears to have persisted for months without Bungie acknowledgement. Increased awareness emerged last week following similar reports concerning Gambit XP.
Currently, players can only highlight the issue and hope for a Bungie response. Update 8.0.0.5 addressed various problems, including Ritual Pathfinder adjustments and the removal of Elemental surges from Dungeons and Raids. However, this Warlock reputation bug remains unresolved.
