Dead Island 2's Patch 6 unleashes New Game Plus, allowing players to restart their adventure with increased difficulty. Retain your inventory, character level, and three extra skill slots. A higher level cap, new weapons and skins, and formidable new enemies await. Prepare to face the Revenants – enhanced Apex zombies with unpredictable behaviors and significantly increased difficulty. Developers promise a heightened challenge for seasoned players. All weapons will be more powerful in NG+, featuring a greater variety of fixed-rarity weapons.
The update also introduces "Neighborhood Watch," a unique horde mode blending tower defense and wave survival. Defend your base for five in-game days, completing objectives to earn valuable gear.
