Dead by Daylight's Terrifying Junji Ito Collection: Eight New Skins Unveiled!
The asymmetrical horror multiplayer game, Dead by Daylight (DbD), is thrilled to announce an exclusive collaboration with renowned Japanese horror manga artist, Junji Ito. This "ultimate horror collaboration" brings eight chilling new character skins inspired by Ito's iconic works to the game.
A Gallery of Nightmares:
The collection features skins based on Ito's masterpieces, including "Tomie," "Hanging Balloons," and "Rumors." Killers receiving new skins are The Dredge, The Trickster, The Twins, The Spirit, and The Artist. The Spirit and The Artist will boast Legendary rarity skins, complete with unique audio and sound effects. Specifically, The Spirit will sport a Tomie skin, while The Artist will don the Miss Fuchi (from "Rumors") skin. Survivors Yui Kimura, Yun-Jin Lee, and Kate Denson also receive new Ito-inspired outfits.
Ito's Approval:
Junji Ito himself was involved in the process, reacting with delight to seeing his creations brought to life in Dead by Daylight. In a video shared on the official Dead by Daylight X (formerly Twitter) account, he expressed his satisfaction, stating, "It was very moving to see that they had become even more terrifying characters after leaving my hands." He even participated in a gameplay session, playing as The Artist with her Miss Fuchi skin.
