Days Gone Remastered roars onto PlayStation 5, boasting a suite of exciting new features. Announced during Sony's February 2025 State of Play, this enhanced edition includes VRR and PS5 Pro support, but the real highlights are its gameplay additions.
Prepare for the challenge of permadeath mode, test your skills in speedrun mode, and capture stunning shots with the improved photo mode. Accessibility options have also been significantly expanded. A new Horde Assault arcade mode lets Deacon St. John face off against even larger hordes of Freakers than before.

This release marks another step in Sony's initiative to bring enhanced PS4 titles to the PS5. Joining other upgraded games like The Last of Us Part I and Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, Days Gone Remastered promises a revitalized experience.
PC players aren't left out. The $10 Broken Roads DLC will deliver the new modes, enhanced photo mode, DualSense support (where applicable), and accessibility features to existing PC owners.
A recent PlayStation.Blog post delves deeper into the improvements. Bend Studio built the game from the ground up for PS5, offering Performance and Quality modes. PS5 Pro players will experience superior visuals and audio, further enhanced by DualSense haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.
